Directions:

From the menu scene you can navigate to the game scene by clicking the ‘Start’ button. Once you have navigated to the next scene you will find an interactive crab.

You are able to, with the help of your mouse, move left and right, rotate left and right, as well as make the crab grow or shrink in size, when you click on the corresponding buttons. At the bottom of the controls, you will find a reset button where you will be able to reset the crab to its original dimensions and position on the screen.

In the top left corner of the scene the button labelled ‘menu’ will navigate you back to the menu scene the game started on.

UX Principles:

·     The use of consistent colours and layout between both Scenes for an easy to use and understand game.

·     Consistent feedback produced on click and mouse over of all buttons throughout.

·     Text Hierarchy used for the titles compared to the button size.

·     Utilising a sans-serif font like Liberation Sans allows a simple, clean, and uniform look throughout the project.

Your scenes look great! Really like the crab and the surfboard and the colours used.

The menu is also really nice and clean and I like the size of the buttons.

My only advice would be to create some more space between the player control buttons so that they are a little bit more accessible and user friendly.

Great job!

This looks great! I like the assets used, especially the crab and wave background. The menu buttons all look consistent with their use of colours and fonts, which are user-friendly. How the buttons change to different colours when clicked is a nice feature! If I had to give any feedback, I think adding a different font to the Titles could be nice for adding an extra 'beach' element and adding an exit/quit button to the menu.
